Sweden and Spain Share Stories...
Hi everyone!
The turning of the calendar from one year to the next has always been a time for summing up past experience, bidding farewell to those we have lost, renewing old friendships, making plans and resolutions, and expressing our hopes for the future...
In Sweden we always listen to the following poem when the clock strikes 12 on New Year's Eve. Do you know it?

Hotel de hielo
Ice Hotel
Hay un hotel grande, en Jukkasjärvi, más al norte del lugar dónde vivo en Suecia. Un hotel famoso en todo del mundo. Se llama el hotel de hielo o Ice Hotel, y es verdaderamente de hielo, todo el edificio, los cuartos, los muebles y las decoraciones son de hielo. Ahora tal vez pensáis que es un poco frío allí, y sí, es fresco. Pero no es tanto frío que te pensáis. Cuando sólo son algunos grados bajo zero Celsius, no hace tanto mucho frío si no hace viento, y no hace viento allí dentro. Ponte capas de ropa abrigo, entonces es caliente y cómodo. Así tienes ropa buena, podrías caminar en los cuartos o hasta, vivir en un cuarto, y dormir allí como en un hotel normal. Cada cuarto tiene un diseño único.
